I have lived just outside the beautiful Peak District since 2002 but have not considered myself to be a photographer for that long. My interest in photography started 2006 and it was then that I brought my first DSLR.

I love to get out in the Peak Park with sunrise being my favourite time of the day. Not only because of the light, but because it always seems such a tranquil time. That said, I also enjoy sunset and I do not hold to the thinking that you should not be shooting through the middle of the day. If that is the only time you have, or when you happen to be at a location you love, then go for it!

Landscape was my first photographic love but it was soon to be followed by macro. I enjoy photograping flowers and other things on a little studio table I have set up at home.

You will see examples of all of my work in the albums here. I very much hope you enjoy them.

Best wishes,

Jude Gadd
